In 2023, our founding director took over the management of a cocoa plantation in Ile-Ife in the Southwest of Nigeria and a lot of the experiences on the frontlines in the sector is a major influence on how we do our business and it forms an important part of our story. Cocoa constitutes a major part of our operations as we also have a strong network with the other farmers in the region. In a bid to make the activities on our cocoa plantation more climate smart, we recently drew up a strategy for the adoption of regenerative agricultural activities. Additionally, from Q3 2025, work will begin on another farm project on the North Central part of the country which will be focused on the cultivation of grains and some food staples.
We cultivate and produce cocoa of the forastero variety and this is the same for the farmers in our network.
